Mould

Mould is generally as a result of poor ventilation causing damp conditions which promote mould growth – usually in bathrooms and shower enclosures.

Mould should be treated as follows

1.      Wash with a 50:50 solution of bleach and water

2.      Allow surface to dry

3.      Apply a proprietary mould-resistant paint such as Zinsser Perma White

Ordinary water-based emulsion paint can also be applied if a mould-killer such as VC175™ is added.
