Damaged Windows

Sun and condensation can cause considerable damage to paintwork on windows and sills but they can be simply repaired and brought backto a top-quality finished look with a little effort.

 

1.  Sand and scrape away any loose paint and debris. This is where a detail sander can save a lot of time and effort !

2.  Hoover and wash the woodwork

3.  Fill any damaged areas with Spackling and allow to dry

4.  Sand smooth

5.  Fill any gaps with acrylic filler

6.  Apply Zinsser Bullseye 1-2-3 Primer / Sealer

7.  Apply an oil-based or water-based paint as a final finish
